Keep fit classes for women

We know that lots of parents have told us that they would like to be able to access women only keep fit in their local area. We also know that gentle exercise for older members of the community and those with health needs is important to our families.

We are really pleased to tell you that, after the Easter break, we will be hosting weekly keep fit classes for women only. Each week there will be two keep fit sessions, one for younger women (under 50) and one for older women and those with a health need.

The sessions have been funded by Yorkshire Sport and all classes are free. During COVID, the classes are virtual (on Zoom) The sessions will include gentle exercise to music which is accessible for all. The session for older members of the community will include seated activities which everyone can access.

Our Fitness Coach, Lucy Austin, will lead both sessions. Please click on the first video for the over 50s and health needs or the second video for keep fit for under 50s.
