We know that, from time to time, some of our families may need extra support to help them through difficult times. School works with a range of partner agencies and organisations to support families with a wide range of needs including;

- Family Support and Guidance
- Domestic Abuse

Kirklees Local Welfare Provision
The Local Welfare Provision (LWP) scheme helps vulnerable people in short-term crisis with food and energy costs. Entitlement for help is based on a person or family's circumstances at the time and is at our discretion.
LWP can help you with:
- Food Parcels
- Gas and electricity vouchers for pre-paid meters
- Short-term help with your rent if you are experiencing financial hardship, apply for a Discretionary Housing Payment (DHP)
LWP can give you information about:
- Council Tax Reduction
- Applying for free school meals and school transport
- School uniform support (free recycled school uniforms are also available from the Uniform Exchange)
- Welfare benefits
- Debt
- Budgeting
- Employment
- Housing
